As always, I don't really mind (or care) who agrees with me, critic or not. I didn't like the show qua show (i.e., as opposed to certain elements) but not for your reasons. (This is likely no surprise.)
I would not have posted that or any reaction here but for the fact that you employed the three lamest words in the English language, the "emperor[']s new clothes." It is nothing more for a euphemism/put down of anyone's taste that differs from your own (Green's, or plenty of others). I get it; you don't get it. You see: when you cite that canard, all you are really doing is saying you prefer the emperor en deshabille. |
