I appreciate the feedback. It’s just that after I watched the Stevie Nicks documentary-bio, especially the tales about the recording of the album “Rumors,” I wished there’d been more of that kind of white hot drama in “Stereophonic.”
And I too agree that Annaleigh Ashford is quite a talent (and not to be dismissed just because some people took issue with her Lovett interpretation). Speaking of dismissals, what has become of Nina Arianda who inspired such adulation after the sexy two-hander VENUS IN FUR? I saw her play Ethel in Nicole Kidman’s Lucille Ball movie…
There are so many stunningly talented actors who rise and fall.
