| Are you sure you saw Lenora Nemetz? Penny Worth was Roxie, and Carolyn Kirsch was Velma when the tour started. Verdon and Rivera joined it for the last five weeks of the Chicago run and then the runs in Los Angeles and San Francisco. While it's possible that if Kirsch was sick, they might have rushed Nemetz in temporarily, I can tell you that the review in the Baltimore Sun mentioned Worth and Kirsch so at least on opening night in Baltimore, it was Kirsch. |
