No need to be sorry. Happens to everyone. And I completely empathize about the playbills. I threw out hundreds when I was moving in 1980s. For the most part, I know who i saw in the productions I saw, but every once in a while, I'm not sure and I wish I had some of those playbills. In fact, just today I was trying to figure out the exact cast I saw in a Met performance of Dialogues of the Carmelites in the 1970s. I know who conducted and I know I saw Regine Crespin, Maria Ewing and Betsy Norden, but Met casts often shift a bit in some roles during a run, and sometimes it's hard to be sure exactly which cast you saw, even with the help of the Met database. |
