Despite the laughter of the audience around us at all the stupid in-jokes, my husband and I absolutely hated TITANIQUE. I know we're in the minority and good for them for running so long, but we thought it was like a badly written, stupid college skit that was a complete waste of time. The leading lady thought she was doing a brilliant Celine Dion impression, and she was not, and she would frequently break into improv that had nothing to do with the show which was like an open mic night. The whole cast performed with a wink wink nudge nudge attitude we found annoying. Absolutely none of it struck us as funny, the audience seemed to be peppered with friends of the cast who laughed knowingly at God knows what, and at the 45 minute mark of this 90 minute show we looked at each other and said, "Let's go." NOT FUNNY. HATED. IT. SORRY FOLKS. This is a garbage show if you're looking for intelligently written satire. Any one song of any FORBIDDEN BROADWAY or NEWSICAL is better.
