| Is this something folks who like musicals might like? Would you need to have seen the first one to understand what is going on? I kind of hate, because of overexposure, lack of story and too many special effects, most Marvel-type superhero films. I hear lots of Marvel-lover folks hate this new Joker film because they don't like musicals though, so thinking maybe musical-lovers might like it. I guess producers can't hide "Wicked" is a musical, but some other recent ones like "Color Purple" sure tried to hide the fact that there was singing and dancing. But what a lost opportunity that they didn't they have musical numbers when they had villains played by folks like Ethel Merman and Caesar Romero, who were experts in singing and dancing, respectively. |
