Wow! But I digress.
Rather than scapegoating, my guess is that, after all these years, he was not enamored of loud contentious meetings at which he felt he was witnessing the crumbling of his "fiefdom."
And yes, by all means let's applaud a resistance to diversification because musical theatre should prefer death to a broadening of its resonance. Brilliant. |
