| The Lion King is one of those shows I wish I had left during intermission. Impressive visually as Act I was, I was really getting bored with it during Act II. And really, there's not enough story to sustain all of that, no matter how creative and inventive the visuals are. I have always wondered how many little kids actually make it all the way through. I honor the amazing, often dazzling creativity behind the production, but I thought it was way way too much of a muchness. |
