I don't think they ever have really answered why some people get honored and some do not.
I think it was a massive mistake to dim the lights for some lesser people (like George Steinbrenner) because it set the bar lower.
The whole situation is such a bad look for the community.
Part of me wonders if the answer is to combine people together and dim the lights once a month for all of them and reserve the solo dimming for major names. |
