The role is a good role, but has so very little real singing to make that much more of an impression than it usually does by a good actor in the role. Perhaps if they added back "Nice She Ain't", it might add a bit of pizzazz for him, but like the also fine, maybe better song for the girls "Mama's Talkin' Soft", the show is pretty perfect the way it turned out.
