| Reri Grist had a big career in opera, though I believe it was mainly in Europe. Some folks have told me she was the best Zerbinetta in "Ariadne auf Naxos" they had ever seen, and that role is considered one of the highest and most difficult for that voice type. Oh, and that she also incorporated cartwheels and other physical movements into some of those performances as well! (Most have been some of that Broadway training!) Pretty damn impressive. |
