| Any reason Patti couldn't have still gone on with her? During the run of WAR PAINT, Ebersole missed a few perfs and Patti went on w the understudy...Patti missed more than a few perfs and Ebersole went on with the understudy. When you have two stars and one is out, a good number of patrons esp those from out of town will likely stay to see the show. Perhaps Halstead was not ready which is still a common occurrence with understudies..why don't producers give them enough time to prepare? Of course Patti may have refused to do it without Mia...Can she do that as a non Union member(or if she were still a Union member?) |
