I am still having trouble believing you actually meant to say "weekly cost is $980K Gross-Gross (so the number reported by the league)" because I know you know the league does not report on costs, and there is no such thing as a gross gross cost. But it's not worth pursuing.
Regarding the tour, maybe, but I was expecting this summer to show a significant bump in sales for the show, and that never materialized. And those summer attendees at a show like this are usually subset of the tour demographic.
It's interesting, and I had forgotten observing this back around opening, but there is a bizarre group of people "producing" this show (the quotes to indicate many/most are really judge big investors). I doubt there has ever been a set of humans who have lost as much investing in dubious financial propositions on Broadway, from Spidey on down. |
