| The tour ran for 4 weeks in Chicago last month. I won the lottery so I got to see it again. It was only slightly less spectacular than the Broadway version -- the car at the show's end did less elaborate gyrations. Don Stephenson was very good as Doc. The kid who played Marty was also fine, but not quite as memorable as Casey Likes. My partner and I enjoyed it, but the review in the Tribune was pretty mixed. Our seats were fine, 10th row orchestra, house right, but not too extreme. I didn't see many empty seats on the main floor so I hope it did well. |
