Wow. Stars were pampered and workaday jobbing actors lived in dorms with only one payphone per floor. Scandalous.
If you worked there twenty-five years ago and got frustrated by the treatment you received- as it sounds to me was the case- then I'm sorry. But that doesn't seem to me to be grounds for thinking the theatre should be shuttered. |
