It was even worse than that, because the show they were working on was set in a giant outdoor pool! 🤣🤣🤣
I think the idea of a stripped down, theater-focused festival could be interesting, but it would feel like a big step-down, and I get the sense that they - whether the board or the existing staff and leadership or both - would rather see mission drift to something that gives the same sense of prestige as they are used to, which can be done on a budget without looking cheap. |
