Except that Warner didn't officially greenlight ''Dune 2'' until after the success of the first part. If the first ''Dune'' had bombed, I doubt there'd be a sequel.
On the other hand, ''Wicked'' was announced as one film, and then Universal in April 2022 said it'd be split into two films (which I doubt many folks know). |
