I agree. This book had me weeping and laughing from its first pages for capturing the wonder of the play and of summer theater (and community theater in the beginning). It didn't hurt that I listened to the audiobook with Meryl Streep.
I also found Demon Copperhead a great read - not sure why that swipe was necessary... |
