"Forty Carats" is reasonably entertaining --- I watched it a few years ago on TCM, I think. It also stars the young Edward Albert, in his follow-up film to another play-to-screen transfer "Butterflies Are Free"; "Butterflies" is a much stronger film and is eminently rewatchable due to Mr. Albert, and especially because of the wonderful Goldie Hawn and Oscar-winner Eileen Heckart. |
