I'm a little surprised that so many of US musicals transferred to West End with success but not the reverse.
I wonder if you didn't restrict it to musicals, but considered play transfers in both directions, if you'd have something closer to parity. I'm thinking Prima Facie, Leopoldstadt, The Ferryman, The Lehman Trilogy, War Horse, Romeo & Juliet, Life of Pi, Harry Potter, Hills of California, etc. etc. |
