| Some of the show's songs were covered by big artists of the day back when "Love Life" was first done. Unfortunately, the show itself didn't get an OCR because of a recording strike. But there have been recordings of "Here I'll Stay" and some of the other songs, like the linked "Green-Up Time" by Buddy Clark, a big recording artist back then. Looking forward to seeing this up to now very unlucky show. But yes, it's a title only really known to musical theater enthusiasts, so I guess Encores doesn't want to risk it not selling well enough for 2 weeks. |
