| Just to clarify... I love Nathan Lane on stage and I try to see all his work. I find his TV and film work underwhelming - his entire Gilded Age performance is essentially mugging and questionable accent - and I am bummed he never managed to apply his considerable talent towards a successful sitcom performance. I am a TV programmer and, personally, I wouldn't greenlit this project. I hope it works because, if good, it's something I'd like to watch. But I am not holding my breath. |
