I saw a recent early curtain (5p) for OH MARY! Happy Hour on Broadway. Given the success of OH MARY!, I hope other productions occasionally consider early start times.
Cole Escola is fun, as is Conrad Ricamora. The whole ensemble is game. I enjoyed the disco "Tomorrow" when you walk into the Lyceum and the finale is a camp fever dream.
The show is funny and enjoyable but overall I was maybe expecting too much given the current hype. Glad to see it is selling out and I hope it extends so more people can see it. I think Cole is a potential contender for acting/writing Tony noms next year.
