Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera did a full-scale production in 1955 with Jo Sullivan, Bob Shaver, John Reardon, Neile Adams, Warren Kemmerling, Swen Swenson, Lola Fisher, and Gordon Dilworth. In those days, the productions were staged in a big amphitheatre.

In 1959, the Karamu House community theatre in Cleveland (you can read about it if you do a search) did a big production. The leads were all double or triple cast, which I think was usual there. The cast of then-unknowns included Robert Guillaume as Larry and Beverly Todd as Betty.

In 1970, Equity Library Theatre did it. And in 2002, as mentioned below, Musicals in Mufti did it as part of its Rodgers centennial season. Well, they sort of did it. It was extremely small-scale with a cast of 10 or so. Unlike their Jumbo in the same season, which sort of worked (thanks in large part to Michael McGrath in the Durante role), at least if you accepted it for what it was, Me and Juliet didn't work at all. If memory serves, very little music not on the cast recording was heard.

The Broadway production played briefly in Chicago after the Broadway closing. It was to have been the beginning of a tour, but it closed in Chicago after disappointing business.
