To my ears, Hackmann sings "bar rooms" both times. I can't tell if he sings "all" or "out."

The R and H website now has the lyric for "Soliloquy" as I guess it is currently licensed. I am linking it. It has "pink and white" for his little girl, but "sweet and light" for the fellers. On the cast recording of the last Broadway revival, Joshua Henry sang that his little girl would be "sweet and light as peaches and cream," but then sang that her fellers would be "pink and white," which is the opposite of what is on the website. Hackmann here sings "sweet and light" for both, which makes some sense as it was "pink and white" for both originally. The problems are, first, that I'm not sure that the description of peaches and cream as "sweet and light" makes a lot of sense. "Sweet," yes, maybe not so much "light." Although, of course, when his little girl is young, she will be light. And second, when she is old enough to be going out with boys, will they be "light"?

The website has "Keep your chin up high."
