| Exactly. My parents took me to see Carousel in 1956 at our local movie theater. I was only 8 years old, but I loved the beautiful music and the story, which was so emotionally powerful. Years later when I was familiar with the stage version, I recognized the flaws in the film, but I still enjoyed watching it despite its shortcomings. |
