On YouTube, Chim and Kad posted video from that night's July 25th curtain call, and in the comments, this account followed:

''The show was delayed about an hour, with most of us standing in line wrapped around the building down 44th street. We were told they were having technical difficulties. We get inside for the pre-show and there are just a few people on stage- not the normal group, maybe 5 guys, no girls. The two sword swallowers come out, to wrap up pre-show. Then an announcement is made that due to the technical difficulties some of the show will be performed upstage (the back) and it will be noticeable for those who know the show well. Show starts. They do all of Satine’s dressing room way upstage, mostly unlit because the motor for moving the sets isn’t working. The actors noticeably have to walk a long way to get back there or up front when needed. After intermission, they make another announcement that Ricky Rojas is being replaced. He had a toe injury from earlier in the day. All in all, it was a great 5-year anniversary! We were given gift bags with a poster to commemorate the evening. And Aaron [Tveit] is back!!''
