Tony winner Aaron Tveit gave a special speech last night to mark the fact that it's been 5 years since ''Moulin Rouge!'' made its Broadway bow. Having survived the COVID hiatus that hit Broadway (in 2020-21), I believe ''Moulin Rouge!'' is the only show that opened that 2019-20 season that is still running. And last night marked its 1,421st performance. Aaron saluted the 8 original cast members & 25 backstage folk who've been with the show since its opening.
