Thank you PlayWiz for this wild trip down memory lane. I was a flyer guy for a while down in the trenches along with some of those you have mentioned. I especially enjoyed reading your kind words about Don, Rich and Lisa. Often, the four of us along with Greg Woolard would stand behind TKTS directly across from the Duffy Theatre and place bets on how many people we thought would exit the Wednesday matinee of Perfect Crime after the show ended. The British woman was named Brenda. She would get upset with a guy named Kent if she suspected he was tossing her flyers in the trash.

I'll contribute to this topic with the guy who hung out near Shubert Alley asking unsuspecting passers-by, “ Hey pal, are you an actor? ” and if they stopped and said, “ Yes, I am an actor ” he’d chat them up and ask them for money.
