I do remember going to a staged reading of "Esther Williams" they had invited me to over at one of the theaters on Theater Row on 42nd Street that I think had been later demolished (maybe the Douglas Fairbanks?). It was a fun reading, and a lot of industry people showed up. I recall seeing Sandy Duncan there; perhaps she was checking out a possible good leading role for herself. I remember enjoying what I had seen.

Don had injured himself a few years before his passing (I think a survival gig was installing swimming pools) and rarely, if ever, showed up at TKTS, and Lisa had already passed, all of which took a toll on him. So I mainly spoke to Rich the last few years. They were always so nice and funny and enjoyable to speak to; Rich always seemed to be trying to get their writing sold somewhere, especially on "Saturday Night Live". Glad that you got to enjoy working with Rich and Don. I miss them all.
