I saw THE GREAT GATSBY last night and was surprised to see a performer I have long admired, Chilina Kennedy, as Myrtle Wilson. I hadn't known she was in the show. A powerhouse belter, she scores big in Myrtle's two numbers.
It was just last month that she closed in A SIGN OF THE TIMES. I don't know how long she's been in GATSBY, but it seems unusual that Sara Chase left this early in the run. Anybody know what the story is there? |
