Just listened to a couple of the songs from that show on YouTube -- really impressive Styne songs, and Redgrave and Powell would have made a wonderful Higgins and Eliza (and I'm sure she eventually played her). Redgrave certainly sings Peter Lawford (who starred in a few movie musicals) under the table, too. I love the Charles Laughton original; it's so funny! Has this musical ever been staged away from tv with any amount of success?
