| Native American braids! Gatsby's real name is Gatz. So he's probably German and maybe Jewish. He's changed his name because of anti-German sentiment around WW2. When the father shows up at the end of the Mia Farrow movie he's heartbreaking and he didn't need braids. Suggestions that Jordan and Nick might be gay would be enough but it sounds like this show lacks subtlety, as many theatre works of today do. |
