Oh my goodness haha. Most things on Broadway nowadays have rough books, questionable directing choices and LOTS of silly lyrics. It’s musical theater. It isn’t the highest art form by any means haha.
All I’m saying is this isn’t as god awful as you made it out to be. And I highly disagree with your review of the performers. They were amazing.
As I said, the audience loved it. I feel bad for you if you go into every theatrical experience hoping to experience something life changing. Your life in theater must be disappointing. |
