He gives a strong performance as the racist Nazi sympathizer patient of psychiatrist Sidney Poitier in the 1962 film "Pressure Point," released one year before "Captain Newman, M.D.," for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. Through the mid-60s he appeared in dramas, comedies and musicals. I wonder if Wise and Robbins ever considered him for Tony in "West Side Story."
I've always liked him and with Groff involved it's sure to be worth seeing.
