The problem is that the criteria for eligibility mentioned in the Playbill article:
"To be eligible for nomination, the theatre professional must have at least 25 years in the American theatre or be a leader of Off-Broadway or a regional theatre pioneer."
is far more liberal than the criteria listed on the Theatre Hall of Fame's own website:
"To be eligible for induction, the theater professional must have given 25 years distinguished service to the American Theater and, at least, five major production credits on Broadway." |
