For what it's worth, I just did a comparison by playing them at the same time -- they being the video of Comedy Tonight from Jerome Robbins Broadway and the OBC album of Forum.

The OBC actors are slower, or at least some are taking different paces, at the beginning of the rundown (from "Pantaloons and tunics!" through "Baritones and basses!") but then it's basically the same for the rest, beginning with "Panderers! Philanderers!" ... the music doesn't really slow down for the cast in the OBC, and Zero pulls it up the rear.
The delivery of each actor (and, it sounds like, the age/style) in the two different cast plays a big part in it sounding slower, but ultimately they catch up with each other.

Personally I do not find, in this case, for it to impact how funny or clever the lyrics come off. But I'm so used to the OBC version, I'm surely not a good judge.
