Ha sorry, i may have been too hasty.

And I very much remember that review vs revue push they did for PIT. It all seemed pointless and odd. Are they really reviewing the material, as in taking a new look at it, or are they just contextualizing each song in a similar way it was in the show it was written for, but in a different show?

I do, at least, think we need a term for a show that is basically a jukebox musical of a musical theater writers songs (with a new story/characters/musical that the songs written for different shows/characters are the score for) vs a show like Ain't Misbehavin, or even Sondheim on Sondheim, which is a presentation of songs that are generally not put into a new context or new story.

If I did a Lionel Bart one, though, of course it would have to be titled Revueing The Situation.
