| Am eager to read a lot of these newer books...also, though, recommend the 1998 bio STEPHEN SONDHEIM by Meryle Secrest...in it he talks a lot about his musical inspirations (had never known, but should have guessed, how much he loved Ravel's work) & process. But you likely have already read this book!! |
