I seem to recall the 1999 revival of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" switching up their schedule post-opening to include 3 show days on Saturdays beginning with an 11am matinee. I assume they were trying to capture the child audience but having to hear Ilana Levine's "Schroeder" before noon is unconscionable - and this is coming from someone who enjoyed her take on Lucy.
Think of the cast, crew, and house staff who had to pull it together for that schedule. Yikes. |
