The section on the 2nd floor is substantially smaller than the current 3rd floor. But yes, according to that website the books will at least go in storage. Whether they remain there, who knows. I could imagine the library making a case that nobody checks out the books, so they should be gotten rid of.

I am very intrigued by the history you mention at the NYPL. Can you describe more the plans that moronic person had? I wouldn’t even know where to begin to find out the plans for the Arts/Music collections at the BPL nor how to protest them.
