Jack and Little Red each get to have a final moment all to themselves, and Red, especially, has a huge acting choice that she gets to make there ("isn't it nice to know a lot? And a little bit not.")

The trio robs Cinderella of her very own private moment in the woods, and that's why I HATE it.

Chromolume was right -- it's unnecessary. We already recognize that each character is on a journey and making his / her own surprise discoveries.
