I don't think it is. And maybe less so in the 80/90's when there wasn't a seemingly endless line of shows waiting for a theatre. I just mentioned it because I figured if I only said shows run as long as their grosses exceed their expenses, some smart alec would chime in "what about the the stop clause?" :-) hehe.
