| He really would have been a terrific Joey in "Pal Joey" some years ago. He still looks and moves more than a decade younger than his actual age. I auditioned for him for a show he was directing some years ago, and he was super nice. On my way out of the room, I stopped a moment, and he smiled at me, as I was weighing whether to add a bit of admiration of his work. I said "I remember those incredible leaps you did when you were in "Kiss Me, Kate", to which he replied "So do my knees when it's about to rain!" LOL Very nice and super talented man. Fortunately those knees were moving really well last night. |
