A little off-topic, but I remember Tony Randall hosting a special on one of the local NYC stations shortly before the 1974 Tonys. He interviewed, among others, Joe Morton of Raisin (who sang a little); Michael Bennett, nominated for Seesaw (his best line: "When the music starts, the choreographer directs the show"); and Zero Mostel. The Mostel interview produced one of my favorite theater quotes **ever**. Randall was fawning over Mostel's performance in Ulysses in Nighttown: "Everything that an actor must do in the course of an evening ... you do!" And Mostel deadpanned, "Either that or you get fired."
