I've always been a little curious about why CBS has never done a 2 hour summer Broadway special highlighting productions coming in for the new season. It seems like a slam dunk for a slow week in the summer. In addition, they could do special features like "Here's a tour of newly renovated Palace (and/or Majestic) Theatre with a Broadway celebrity talking with an expert who can actually talk about the changes to the theatre."
Basically just a 2 hour commercial/infomerical for Broadway spotlighting upcoming productions. |
