| With one small exception (Waffles) the production was dreadfully miscast, and directed by someone with no clue what the play or characters are about. I;ve seen over a dozen productions ofVANYA over the years, in the US, UK, and Russia. And (full disclosure) have also directed two. This set the bar for the worst production. |
