| Who can say? Who pegged Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra to be a couple? And yet they've been married over the last 5 years, and have a kid. Something I respect about Nick is his love for theater. Some pop stars might distance themselves from Broadway because it often isn't seen as hip or cool. Not Nick. The former child actor of 3 Broadway shows made his adult N.Y theater debut as Finch in ''How to Succeed.'' He's also played Marius in a ''Les Miserables'' concert; filmed ''Jersey Boys Live''; was a producer of ''Chicken and Biscuits,'' and played with his brothers at the Marquis in 2023. He's also an award-winning songwriter in his own right, but with ''The Last Five Years'' will be devoting a 14-week engagement doing Jason Robert Brown's songs. And he'll probably be attracting a lot of young people who'll be seeing their very first Broadway musical. Time will tell how he acquits himself, but bravo for now! |
