Wayman, thanks for the kind words. I'm impressed that you were able to get 24/26 right without seeing any of the shows! This year, that would be very tough. It's pretty safe to say that no one is going to win the Tony Awards Challenge where you have to get all 26 categories correct in order to win.
I personally find that seeing the shows makes a huge difference, particularly with predicting nominations. But if 12 shows are going to open in the last 9 days of the season, and another seven in the 6 weeks before that, I guess I'm not going to have seen a lot of the contenders. I'm not sure how all the voters are squeezing them in, even if 2 of those late-openers didn't get any nominations. So they only had to fit in 17 shows that opened in March or April. ;) |
