| Oh boy. What world are you living in? I live in the one where men get paid more than women, where men still control most of the businesses in the world, where the Top 10 richest people in the world list is all men. This country has been around for 250 years and a woman has never been President. Over the past 100 years, Broadway mostly honors men as the great composers of the form. And there is a national debate about recognizing and caring about gender that has not and may never well be resolved. When we get to the world you're talking about, great, but we aren't even close to that yet. | |
